What is a Ladoo (Superfoods energy bites )?

Ladoo or Laddu are sweets molded into a ball shape and are often served as a part of festivities or religious occasions in the Indian household. Traditionally it is cooked using chickpea gram or semolina flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil), and sugar, with other ingredients that vary by recipe, like chopped nuts or dried raisins. We kept the nuts and substituted all other ingredients to satisfy the sweet cravings of calorie conscious souls. Rich superfoods with no added sugar and uses natural sweetness of Dates and nuts.  Each of the ingredients are a good source of nutritious fiber, protein and essential vitamins paving the way for a healthier heart during those in-between meals hunger pangs.

Enjoy these superfoods as is, dissolved into milk or made into energy balls

Instructions to make balls/ladoo:

• Transfer a portion of the mix in a pan or a microwave safe bowl
• Heat the portion on a low flame or microwave for 10-20 seconds
• Once warm, transfer a small portion on your palm and roll a fist full of powder into round circular balls (can apply oil on palms if too dry but not needed)
• Eat this superfood immediately or transfer into a airtight container

How to Store:

Since our products are 100% fresh, it’s super important to follow storing instructions. Store unopened packet at room temperature. Once opened seal zipper after use or empty ingredients into an air tight container. Make sure to double check the manufacturing and expiration dates at all times
