Stuffed Chili goodness as a side snack to a hot cup of chai – one for those rainy monsoon days
(makes 4 Galettes)
Roll , fold and bake this heavenly savory crisps stuffed with mushrooms seasoned using our best seller 👉🏽All purpose Master Spice Blend 👈🏽
For the dough:
1 1/2 cups AP Flour;1/4 cup cheese powder (optional)
1/2 tsp salt; 8 tbsps unsalted butter, cold ;
6 tbsps cold water
For the filling:
2 tbsps. Master Spice Blend
2 cups chopped mushrooms ;
1/4 cup garlic; 1/2 cup mint leaves
1/4 cup white part of green onions
1/2 cup scallions;1/2 tsp salt; 2 tbsps
oil
In a heated nonstick oiled pan, add garlic. Cook till golden yellow.
Add mushrooms & cook till water evaporates.
Now add in our Master spice blend + salt. Mix & switch off the flame.
Top it with scallions, mint leaves, or any other herbs. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough, stopping 2 inches from the edges.
Top with cheese, olives, mustard sauce, etc.
Fold the edges of the dough inwards toward the center.
Brush dough with chili oil or egg whites & bake in the middle of the oven for 30-40 minutes at 400 F (200 C) until the crust is golden & flaky.
